Subject: Good Versions
A good show with acceptable recording quality. Alan and company play some of their songs in different variations unlike the dozen times I've seen them. Worth a listen.

Notes

!! Mono Audience Recording !!

First night out of three for me to see the Retribution Gospel Choir on their short European tour. It was in the small hall of the Paradiso, Low normally play in the main hall when they visit the Netherlands. I had expected the place to be packed with Low fans, but there were only 30-40 people. Might have been because of the weird time (22:30pm), or the lack of a support act.
The set was loud, wild and too short. Eric broke three sticks during the first couple of songs. Unfortunally this recording didn't turn out as good as I had hoped for. Most of the right channel was empty, there were a few songs recorded on it, but with so many clicks and crackles that I decided to completely replace it with the left channel, thereby making this a mono recording. Also the left channel had a few click and plops, notably at the start of the first two songs, I removed them as much as I could. Forty seconds of silence was left out between tracks 11 and 12. I considered to add some equalisation, but in the end decided against it. You may want to reduce the bass a bit though.
